Glass Painting And Introduction To Crafts (ROUTE J)

Course Outline

The course offers OCN qualifications in: Glass painting - core skills; Creative Craft - Christmas Decorations; Introduction to craft skills; Glass painting and Art & Design personal Project.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

What will I study?

You will study a range of glass painting techniques which include outlining, sponging, dipping etc, producing a range of craft items such as Christmas decorations, fabric painting, collage etc.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by your tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just continual support and guidance. You will need to produce a portfolio of your work which will be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be accredited with an OCN qualification.

Career Opportunities & Progression

On completion you can progress onto further OCN qualifications.

Length

Term 1 - 30 hours (1 session per week, over 10 ? 12 weeks) Term 2 - 30 hours (1 session per week, over 10 ? 12 weeks) Term 3 - 30 hours (1 session per week, over 10 ? 12 weeks)
