Introduction to Hair Colour

Course Outline

The course offers an OCN qualification in Basic commercial colour course.

Entry requirements

There are no qualifications required for this course.

What will I study?

This 30 hour course is designed to give knowledge of the different commercial hair colourants available and their suitability. Practical skills are developed in the correct application and the safety precautions taken.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by your tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just ongoing support and guidance You will need to produce a portfolio of your work that will then be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be credited with an OCN Qualification.

Career Opportunities & Progression

After successful completion of this courses you could progress to an OCN Level 1 or 2 Hair up or Blow drying Course.
