What will I study?

This course is designed to develop skills and knowledge in the care of the hands and nails in a safe and hygienic and professional environment. In addition, knowledge is acquired on the structure of the nail to identify a variety of different nail disorders and conditions. It will provide an excellent grounding for anyone wishing to progress on to a professional course.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by the tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just ongoing support and guidance. You will need to produce a portfolio of your work that will then be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be accredited with an OCN qualification.

Career Opportunities & Progression

This course will provide an excellent grounding for anyone wishing to progress onto a professional practitioner?s course in college.
